PageLab is a development environment for human-machine interfaces (HMI), designed for managing any kind of embedded hardware.
PageLab can be successfully used on devices with any kind of resources: LCD monitor, touchscreen, black & white or color monitor, with any resolution and any pixel depth; may they have joypad or physical keyboard or virtual keyboard; with or even without operative system.
PageLab runtime is extremely thrifty, speaking of hardware resources, this is why it can be successfully ported on any kind of device, no matter how low its resources may be.
Unlike the common HMI systems, upon compilation, PageLab will translate the entire graphic interface in machine language code. The availability of code directly executable by the microprocessor allows to obtain extremely reactive HMI applications, even on board without particularly efficient systems.
Furthermore, the possibility of executing HMI applications on any system gives the client the opportunity to provide a unique programming software for a wide range of products, valorizing familiarity and know-how with the environment and allowing to reuse applications, or portions of them, on different products, making the use of PageLab even more convenient.
PageLab can be perfectly integrated with the other products of the Axel suite, including the PLC IEC 61131-3 development environment (LogicLab), tools for configuration, supervision and diagnostic of networks and parameters (SoftTune and SoftScope), an offline simulator (SimuLab) and a SoftPLC execution environment (LLExec); offering a unique and complete suite able to meet the requirements of any automation system.
